Obituary for
Rocco Joseph Cessario
Rocco Joseph Cessario, 87, from Coconut Creek passed away September 29, 2016. He leaves behind his wife, Nancy, of 62 years. Born in Queens, New York, he worked at Grumman Aerospace Corporation as an Instrumentation Technician for most of his life and coached Little League football in Kings Park, Long Island, New York.
He moved to Broward County in 1988 where he was actively engaged with the Township community, volunteered with Blood Drives, and cooked for the Elks Club in Pompano Beach. His hobbies included archery, flying aircrafts, and fixing things around the house.
His family will remember him as empathetic, a giver, smart, generous, always loving unconditionally, and for his saying, "When you go to someone's house, always go with your arms full!", building cars with his son, Italian food on Sundays, and always cooking for the family.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Nancy; children Rozann (Edward) Juth and Thomas (Lori) Cessario; grandsons Eric (Liz) Argiro, Michael, and Anthony "AJ" (Ann) Cessario; great-grandchildren, Dominic and Harry.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Savino-Weissman Funeral Home, with a Service beginning at 6:30 P.M.
