Life Story for Tadeusz Szczepankiewicz
Tadeusz M. (Ted) Szczepankiewicz, age 69, left this earth on Monday, February 13, 2017. He succumbed to a massive heart attack. He resided in Coral Springs and Coconut Creek, Florida for the past 31 years after moving to Florida from the Boston area.
Ted was born in Deedington, England on July 20, 1947 to Tadeusz and Maria Szczepankiewicz, en route to the United States from Poland.
He was a graduate of Alliance College, of Pennsylvania where he earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology. He went on to become a professional painter and drywall expert in the construction field, being a member of the painters union for many years.
Ted will be especially remembered for his love of life, his gift of giving, he was always the first person offering to give a helping hand, with a radiant smile and an infectious laugh. He had a heart of gold. Always there to offer a hand to help anyone in need. He was a very dependable, reliable and caring friend. And especially always there for his most precious family and friends.
Ted adored his amazing, successful, entrepreneurial sons, Gregory & Mikey. He was the proudest dad ever. Not to mention how he truly loved his most adoring grandson’s, Jaxon and Justice and their most innovative and loving mom, Brittany.
Survivors include his sons Gregory and Michael, grandsons Jaxon & Justice, daughter-in-law Brittany, x-wife Sharon Szczepankiewicz, sister Irene Wojcik and companion, Susan Casey. Ted was preceded in death by his sister, Diana, and both parents, Tadeusz and Maria Szczepankiewicz. Family will be receiving friends from 12 to 1 PM. Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25 at the Savino Funeral Home located at 2950 N. State Road 7, Margate, Florida. Relatives and friends are welcome at the service.
