Life Story for Harold Duane Gray

In Loving Memory of a dear friend and neighbor

On December 7th, 2017 passed away here in Coral Cay.
Duane (and his late wife Phyllis) winter vacationed here from 2010 for many
years at the corner of NW 65th Ave and Colonial Dr. in the "peach colored"
house.
Duane was seen and greeted by many that drove past or dog walked their
dogs as he sat on his front porch with his Detroit banners flying for the
Tigers, Lions and Redwings teams. He always had a friendly “Hello” to
anyone that passed by his place.
He played his country western music both day and night which we could hear
Johnny Cash and others thru his XM radio stations float thru the air.
Duane was a very kind soul that had many interesting stories and of his
beloved Michigan. He would show us his family photos and tell you of the
newest addition to the Gray's family tree to which Duane was a Great
Grandfather. He also had sunflowers growing in his garden or on his porch,
loved his flower garden too.
Duane loved going to Bingo and was seen there with his sons Tim, Scott or
daughter Nancy as well as other family members. He would be seen with his
Detroit ball cap on and enjoying the piano music before Bingo starts. He was
pretty lucky at playing Bingo here (or at the Four-Corners Bingo), Duane had
his favorite front table to sit up by the stage at Bingo.
Duane is survived by his children, Kathy, Nancy, Cheryl, Tim, Scott and his
many Grand Children and Great Grand Children.
Here's to you Duane… may you play the many Bingo's up there and win every
one of them and enjoy your country music too!! We will miss seeing you on
your porch.
