The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Karl Meier can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Patty & Bernie Charette
Condolence: Karl was a loved member of our family for over 20 years. Karl was one of the most considerate and kind individuals we ever met. He will be sorely missed, especially his numerous visits to our mountain home in Ellijay, Georgia. His love for nature and his daily hiking will always be remembered that upon his return that huge smile on his face clearly showed he was in his element.

The loss of Karl is especially hard on our nephew Christopher and we were honored that he let us be with him during his initial time of grief and loss.

Karl's loss will allow us to enter into new friendships with his extended family in Belicon , Switzerland, when we accompany Christopher to return Karl to his final home. We promised Karl we would return to Switzerland with he and Chris.
Karl someday and are honored to do so in June.

We are comforted to know that when we stare into the sky at night a shining brilliant star will be hiking across the night sky looking down upon Christopher and all his beloved family.

Rest in peace Karl, we love you, and will meet you again soon.
